Morgan Polotan is a New York City-based venture capitalist known for his specialization in seed-series A startups primarily in fintech, digital health, and SaaS. He currently serves as a Principal at the B Capital Ascent Fund, where he is responsible for driving investment decisions and supporting portfolio companies. His previous roles as Principal at Comcast Ventures and Genacast Ventures involved leading investments in various startups such as Dandelion Energy, Zapata Computing, Neural Magic, goTenna, Blockdaemon, Confetti, and SafeBase. Polotan's venture capital career began at Bloomberg Beta, where he contributed to investments in Donut, Stedi, and Campuswire. He also has prior software engineering experience at Tapad, an adtech company that was bought by Swedish telco Telenor.
