Van Macatee is a seasoned telecom and technology professional with over four decades of experience. He holds degrees in Finance and Financial Management Services from Wharton School of Business and Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Georgia Military College-Milledgeville Campus. His experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Blue Stream Fiber, and in CEO and COO positions at Evermore Group, Xspand, Stratto LLC, and Highwinds. He has also held senior-level positions at Level 3 Communications, TCI Cable, and Sprint.

Van's expertise lies in operational management, and he has helped many telecom and technology service providers in achieving scalable operational excellence by leveraging his deep functional expertise and proven methods. He is a strong believer in process excellence and has developed the Operations Science approach, which is a fact-based and refined collection of methods and tools from the best of Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, Balanced Scorecards, Business Process Improvement, and Business Intelligence.

In addition to his professional achievements, Van has served on the Board of Directors at Tele-Management Forum and has been a Senior Consultant at Canoe Ventures. He is an alumni of Georgia Military College, and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
