Daniel Meas is an experienced Engineering Manager with a background in large scale distributed backend services, streaming real-time applications, and petabyte scale data modeling. He has worked on well-known titles such as Command and Conquer and Plants vs. Zombies before joining Discord, a communication platform with over 100 million monthly active users. At Discord, Daniel is dedicated to empowering his team and helping each person achieve their unique goals, focusing on building scalable data infrastructure and services for rapidly expanding machine learning, data science, and business intelligence teams. Daniel has a degree from the University of Colorado and is currently leading the Data Platform team at Discord.
