Molly Troupe is a renowned Master Distiller at Freeland Spirits, a prominent woman-owned distillery based in Portland, Oregon. She is a distinguished chemist, having earned a degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Forensics from Southern Oregon University. Additionally, she has a Master's degree in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University. With over a decade of experience in the liquor industry, Molly's contributions have been indispensable. Prior to her role at Freeland Spirits, she was a Production Manager, Lead Distiller, and Chemist at Oregon Spirit Distillers. Having excelled in all areas of production, including mashing, fermentation, distillation, barreling, blending, and bottling, her expertise at OSD was fundamental. At Hood River Distillers, Inc, she served as Quality Control Assistant, where she oversaw bottling regulations and sensory analysis. She has also been a Consultant at Molly Troupe Consulting, Co-Host at Empty Glass Resistance, and Assistant to Chemistry Storeroom Manager at Southern Oregon University.
