Fatmir Curri is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the Western Balkans and Kosovo, specializing in European integration, civil society development, fundraising, public policy making, institutional capacity-building, donor coordination, and management and consultancy services for various EU and other donors. With a strong background in capacity building for EU accession, he has worked extensively on projects with IPA, EIDHR, and EC Community programs focusing on civil society, media, and public administration. For over a decade, Fatmir managed the European Integration School, a notable capacity building initiative on EU policies with a particular emphasis on enlargement issues, certifying over 920 alumni. Additionally, he served as a team leader for the Democratic Society Promotion scheme funded by the Swiss Development Cooperation and as the team leader of the EU Information and Cultural Centre in Kosovo. Fatmir also boasts over 5 years of experience in organizing and conducting training sessions on various topics including development of EU funded projects, CSO management, fund raising, citizens' participation in decision making, advocacy and lobbying, networking, communication, and public relations. He is proficient in drafting and editing training materials, conducting project evaluations, impact assessments, practitioner of M&E systems, and delivering training on PCM methodology. Fatmir is highly motivated, cooperative, and demonstrates a strong commitment to work, with exceptional team-leading, creativity, and leadership abilities. He holds a Master's degree in European Studies from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Prishtina. Fatmir's professional journey includes roles such as Program Director at the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation, Team Leader for Democratic Society Promotion, Consultant/Trainer at the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), Project Manager at the European Integration School, Senior Officer for EU affairs at the Ministry of European Integration in the Government of Kosovo, among others.
