Jay Bushman is a multi-talented writer, transmedia producer, and narrative designer with an impressive portfolio of work across traditional and emerging media platforms. With a BA in theater from The George Washington University and an MFA in drama, film, and video production from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Jay has a wealth of experience in various fields of media.

Jay has won an Emmy for his work as a writer and transmedia producer on the interactive series "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries," based on Jane Austen's novel "Pride and Prejudice." He was also the co-creator and co-showrunner of the sequel interactive series "Welcome To Sanditon." Jay has helped create the Emmy-winning series "Dirty Work" and wrote and created the show "Airship Dracula" during his time as a writer and producer at Fourth Wall Studios.

In addition to his work in television and film, Jay has also made a name for himself in experimental social media storytelling. He has been dubbed "The Epic Poet of Twitter" for writing one of the first Twitter novels and was called an "Enterprising Fabulist" by Vanity Fair for his innovative approach to storytelling.

Jay has held various positions in media companies such as Loose Fish Media, Moth+Flame, Peabody Awards, NOVEL ADVICE, and Astronauts Wanted: No Experience Necessary. He was also the chief creative officer and founder of The Horizon Factory, served as the director of social media, experience designer, transmedia producer, and writer at Fourth Wall Studios, and was a former narrative designer/writer at Niantic Labs at Google, among others.
