Kylin O'Brien is a multidisciplinary artist hailing from New York City, known for her award-winning work that includes painting, building, creating installations and presenting collaborative projects. She holds degrees in Philosophy from Vassar and in Tibetan Studies from the School for International Training. She also holds a degree in Art and Design from Leeds in the UK, where she was awarded a part-time lectureship while pursuing her studies. Kylin's work has been internationally exhibited, and she has had numerous solo exhibitions, most notably in New York City with Hudson of FEATURE INC.

Kylin's art can be considered medicinal depending on potency, dosage and context, employing ancient symbolism, ritualistic repetition, transformative energy, natural and supernatural systems and the physics of space, material and process. She works interactively with nature, media and humanity, with much of her art embracing transformation and realizing a full cycle of creation through dissolution. Her work can be seen, featured and talked about in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Artsy, rxArt, artNEWS, Art in America, The Huffington Post, NPR, Gothamist, and Flavorwire.

Aside from her artistic work, Kylin is also a Black Belt in full-contact karate and is a Feng Shui intuitive and an energy healer. She has created commissioned public work during Art Basel Miami, as part of a large-scale public works project nationwide. Additionally, she is currently writing the book "Peace on Earth: One Room at Time," expected out in 2022.
