Donna Hazard is an accomplished businesswoman, environmentalist, and biologist. She earned her MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurial Management from Harvard Business School, and also completed a Master's degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard Extension School. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Biology and Science in Human Affairs from Princeton University. Hazard has served on the board of directors for SeaAhead, an organization focused on advancing innovation and sustainability in the oceans industry. She is also a former board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Hazard previously co-founded Women Working For Oceans, an organization dedicated to ocean conservation. Her professional career includes consulting at Bain & Company, serving as a team manager at COMPANY ASSISTANCE LTD, and working as a market analyst at BioTechnica International. Hazard has also held numerous leadership roles in the biotechnology industry, including co-founder and vice president at Exact Sciences and director of marketing and business development at Genzyme Genetics. She served as interim president and CEO of the New England Aquarium and was the immediate past chair of the board of trustees.
