Katia Padvalkava

Katia Padvalkava is an accomplished professional with an extensive academic background in Sociology, Social Anthropology, and Human Geography. She currently works as the Head of Research Facilitation at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford. Katia's role involves facilitating the growth and development of OII research activity by coordinating the preparation of research proposals, working with researchers from all career stages, and contributing to shaping departmental policy. Her previous experience includes working at Oxford University Innovation as an Academic Consultant, amongst other prominent research institutions such as the European Center for Not-for-Profit Law and the University of Birmingham, where she worked as a Senior Research Officer/Research Facilitator and Research Associate respectively. Katia's experience in research facilitation and coordination of research activities make her a valuable member of the OII department.
