Ashley Shabankareh is a highly accomplished music educator, consultant, and industry professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. Her extensive musical background includes academic achievements such as a Master of Music in Music Performance and a Bachelor of Music Education in Music Education and Music Business, both earned from Loyola University New Orleans. Ashley's career began as an after-school music teacher at St. Paul's Episcopal School and General Music Instructor at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School, both located in New Orleans. She is also a seasoned freelance musician, having performed with several notable acts, including Aretha Franklin, Jimmy Buffett, and Allen Toussaint.

In 2013, Ashley was named Director of Programs at Preservation Hall Foundation, a position that allowed her to pursue her passion for empowering the youth of New Orleans through music education and mentorship.
