Abel Villca Roque is an experienced professional with a strong background in algorithm design, machine learning, and big data. He has been involved in various industries, including IT, biotech, and finance, for over a decade. Abel has built his expertise in a range of essential areas, such as driving projects to completion under strict government and industry standards, advising senior management in their strategic decisions, and implementing sophisticated digital signal processing algorithms and machine learning systems.

Abel holds an MBA from the prestigious Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He also studied computer science and electrical engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) under a full scholarship. During his graduate studies, Abel spent a year at the Computer Science department of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and worked as a visiting researcher at the Media and Information Laboratories of NEC Corporation in Kawasaki, Japan.

After receiving his education, Abel worked for F. Hoffmann-La Roche in California and Switzerland, where he gained expertise in algorithm development, machine learning, and product development for FDA and CE-mark requirements. Later, he joined McKinsey & Company as an Associate, where he worked in the fields of business strategy, operational excellence, and go-to-market strategy. Abel is currently the CEO of Villca Solutions LLC, which provides services to clients mainly in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In addition to his professional achievements, Abel is an avid marathon runner and fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
