Andrew Smyk is an accomplished UX designer, educator, and writer with over 25 years of experience in the web industry. Andrew has a strong background in information architecture, interaction design, and user research for digital platforms. He earned his BS from Clarkson University, a post-graduate certificate from Sheridan College, and an MA in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto.

Andrew currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Interactive Multimedia Graduate Certificate at Sheridan College. He has previously worked as a User Experience Writer at Adobe and as an Interaction Designer and Instructional Design at Andrew Smyk Dot Com. Andrew has also studied Knowledge Media Design Institute at Univeristy of Toronto.

In his free time, Andrew enjoys cycling and experimenting with different styles of pizza, working on his kettlebell swings, and being an all-around pirate. He is passionate about teaching, coffee, and writing on topics pertaining to content strategy, UX research, and UX writing.
