Douglas Lescarbeau is a talented mechanical engineer with a passion for rocket propulsion systems design, development, operation, and qualification. He has extensive experience in design of systems architecture, vibrations and acoustics, and operations of energetic systems. Lescarbeau completed his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering at Boston University. Throughout his academic journey, he served as the Director and Chief Engineer of Boston University’s Rocket Propulsion Group, a 40+ member student group committed to being the first University team to reach space. In addition to his academic involvement, Lescarbeau has held various internships and professional roles at Analytical Space Inc, Busek Space Propulsion & Systems, Titeflx Aerospace, and Smiths Tubular Systems - Laconia. Most recently, he is employed as a Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX Starlink, responsible for leading and contributing to the development of spacecraft propulsion system designs. He previously worked as a Propulsion Development Engineer at Blue Origin and a First Stage Propulsion Systems Engineering Intern at SpaceX. With his notable experience, Lescarbeau brings valuable expertise to the field of aerospace engineering.
