Sam Edwards is an accomplished product designer and design engineer with extensive experience in the fields of mechanical engineering, sustainable design, and human factors analysis. He holds a BTEC National Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, a Product Design BSc (Hons) with Professional Development from Brunel University, and has studied Product Design at San Francisco State University and Agriculture, Horticulture, and Engineering at the Brymore School of Rural Technology.

Sam has worked as a Design & Development Engineer at Powerflex and a Graduate Design Engineer at Dyson, where he gained expertise in design for manufacturing, tooling, and assembly rig design for mass production. He is proficient in using Solidworks, Siemens NX, Pro Engineer, and Adobe Design Suite for CAD and graphic designs.

Sam's skills also include sketching and technical drawing to develop and communicate new concepts. He has extensive experience in rapid prototyping, mechanical and testing simulation, sustainability analysis via lifecycle assessment, and reliability assessment and testing of consumer electronic goods. He also conducted user course trials and performance testing and analyzed the cognitive and physical design intent to improve usability and the user experience.

In addition to his work in the design engineering field, Sam has also served as a Bicycle Project Manager at jole rider, collaborated on a design project for Ultimate Sports Engineering, tutored sketching at Brunel University, and worked as a salesperson and Bicycle Fit Consultant at the Specialized Concept Store. He has also held positions as a CNC Machinist at P.A.W. Engineering and Bicycle Assembly Lead at The Bicycle Chain.
