John Mandel is an accomplished executive in the product engineering industry with a proven track record of leading globally distributed teams to build innovative solutions. With experience in transforming teams from legacy methods to modern, productive ways of delivering products, John has a talent for driving growth and putting customers first. He has built, integrated, and started new teams, transformed legacy products, and delivered successful SaaS and enterprise products to the market.

John has co-founded a VC-backed company, worked for a company with an IPO exit, and grown companies from pre-revenue to $10M. He has also served as the head of engineering for companies with revenues between $45M to $140M and been an engineering leader at companies with revenue between $300M to $1B. His responsibilities have spanned from building and managing teams, designing efficient processes, introducing governance models, and releasing software.

In addition to development, John has actively been involved in ensuring customer success through requirements gathering and driving services and support. He has worked with distributed teams across the world and has a diverse set of skills, including transformation, collaboration, team building, program and project management, quality engineering, budgeting, strategic planning, employee hiring and growth, team retention and satisfaction, customer satisfaction driven, and problem solving.

John holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has held executive and leadership positions at Acquia, Continuum (acquired by ConnectWise), ACI Worldwide, Kofax, Plectix BioSystems, Buzzlocker Sport, Unica Corporation, MarketSoft, and Wildfire Communications.
