Ernest Wilson is an accomplished political scientist, educator, and founder of the Center for Third Space Thinking at the University of Southern California. Dr. Wilson holds a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a Master's and PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Wilson's extensive career includes working with the Black Panthers and serving on the senior staff of the White House National Security Council. As Dean of the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, he developed a unique framework for understanding the attributes necessary for success in today's climate - the Third Space, which emphasizes empathy, adaptability, intellectual curiosity, cultural competency, and 360-degree thinking. Dr. Wilson has devoted himself to sharing his experiences and research findings with students and leaders across the world.
As Founder and Director of the Center for Third Space Thinking, Dr. Wilson leads a community of Third Space Thinkers and promotes the benefits of this framework in academic and corporate settings. He is sought after by corporations, government officials, and NGO leaders for his expertise in globalization, diversity, and leadership.
