The most prominent investments were Solikamsk Magnesium Works, Sosna (furniture maker) and Kemerovo Azot.•	Managed a portfolio of four companies ($8.5 million investment in equity and debt);•	Led a turnaround of the furniture producing company, based in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, ($6.5 million investment). Negotiated and structured a merger of the portfolio company with another furniture company;•	Structured and set up a US-based (New York) distribution subsidiary of the portfolio furniture producing company. Northland Power Inc. operates the 120 MW Iroquois Falls and 110 MW Kingston cogeneration plants in Ontario, and the 54 MW Mont Miller wind farm in Quebec owned by Northland Power Income Fund, in addition to two gas and biomass power plants in Kirkland Lake (138 MW) and Cochrane (42 MW), and has a large portfolio of development projects.•	Performed strategy analysis and detailed 17-years financial model for $US200 million heat and power plant’s expansion and reconstruction. Prepared project development information for EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development); •	Upon the EBRD’s request, prepared the analysis of the plant’s overdue A/P and the calculation of potential liabilities (the penalties on overdue A/P, loans and leases) provided plants’ creditors would sue the company as of specific date;•	Reviewed the business plan, developed pro-forma statements and Excel-based 20-years financial forecast model for acquisition of power plant located in Czech Republic. Western NIS Enterprise Fund is a $150 million regional private equity fund, a pioneer in Ukraine and Moldova with more than a decade of experience investing in small and medium-sized companies. Since its inception, WNISEF has invested approximately $120 million in 29 companies in the region in a range of industries with a concentration on fast moving consumer goods, construction materials, packaging, retail, and financial services. WNISEF is currently managed by Horizon Capital Associates, LLC. WNISEF was established by the U.S. Congress and funded by the U.S. government via USAID.•	Managed portfolio of six companies ($14.5 million investment in equity and debt), preparing monthly and quarterly financial and operational performance reports for review by the Fund’s senior management. Prepared and delivered portfolio PowerPoint-based presentations to the Fund's Board of Directors on an annual basis;•	Led a successful restructuring of a bankrupt ice-cream producing (portfolio) company (with assets worth of US5.5 million) by settling US$6 million creditors’ claims with US$3 million creating the new company that acquired the assets of bankrupt company;•	Led negotiation on US$8 million investment into, and conducted operational and financial due diligence of the bottles manufacturing company (that had existing US$1.8 million lease agreement with WNISEF);•	Enforced the collection of due and past due loans’ interest and principal repayments from two portfolio companies; •	Lead the successful restructuring of a portfolio agricultural company by installing a new management team and developing a new company strategy; •	With a help of marketing agency Saatchi & Saatchi, lead the development of a new label for the bottle, and sales and marketing strategies for a sunflower oil company;•	Negotiated a $1.4 million pre-export loan with Raiffeisen Bank, and export contracts with commodity off-takers on behalf of a sunflower oil company.

It was closed down in 1999 aftermath of Russian August 1998 crisis•	Generated $180,000 (gross profit per annum) by trading securities in over-the-counter market.•	Controlled trading for a US$500,000 corporate account of the parent company (Atlantik Financial Markets/ABN-AMRO).•	Executed sell and buy orders for the corporate client, Auerbach Grayson (New York-based brokerage firm).•	Passed Ukrainian State Securities Commission examination (License #97/00254) and PFTS’s (NASDAQ-type OTC electronic stock exchange) examination.
