Arvind Sankaran, a highly accomplished engineer, has an extensive background in chemical engineering and material flow engineering with over twenty years of experience. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering as well as a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois. Previously, he studied Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Sankaran has worked for numerous companies throughout his career, including Intel Corporation, Novellus Systems, Pivotal Systems, Applied Materials, Tesla, and currently Plenty, Inc. He now serves as Senior Director of Engineering at Plenty, Inc, where he leads teams developing technological advancements in vertical farming.

Before Plenty, Inc, Sankaran headed Tesla's Material Flow Engineering and was later promoted to oversee Material Flow and Vehicle Packaging Engineering. He also worked as a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager, Director of Technical Program Management and Product Management. His background in product marketing and applications engineering has enabled him to lead complex technical initiatives throughout his illustrious career.

Sankaran's experience in engineering, product marketing, product management, program management, materials flow and management, and technical leadership provide strong qualifications for his position as Senior Director of Engineering at Plenty, Inc.
