Charney Robinson-Williams is a skilled event curator, communications strategist, and nonprofit leader with a wealth of professional experience. She studied at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, completing both her BA and MPA at the Rutgers School of Public Affairs and Administration. Charney has held multiple roles at The Protein Society, including Director of Communications and Events, Interim Managing Director, Manager of Outreach & Events, and Program Coordinator. She also worked as the Program & Events Assistant at ASSOCIATION FOR THE STUDY OF THE WORLDWIDE AFRICAN DIASPORA INC and was a Field Policy & Management Intern at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Charney has been the Director of Community & Content at ImpactPHL since 2020.

Charney is a well-rounded professional with a range of skills that include event planning, communications, outreach, management, and community organizing. She has a strong interest in nonprofit work, and particularly in the areas of science and education. Her role at ImpactPHL allows Charney to use her skills to support entrepreneurs and create positive social impact.
