Felix Torres

Felix Torres is a versatile individual with a rich background in music and arts management. As the Co-Chair of the Wright Torres Foundation, Music Director of the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, and Artistic & Executive Director of the East Texas Youth Orchestra, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advocating for change and creating value in his community.

Felix's educational journey includes studying Orchestral Conducting, Wind Conducting, and Music Education at Texas Christian University, where he honed his skills and knowledge in the field.

Throughout his career, Felix has held various key positions in prestigious organizations such as the former Chief Operating Officer at The Conducting Institute, former Director of Admissions at The Conducting Institute, former Managing Director at FILARMONIKA Music Publishing, former Executive Director of the East Texas Youth Orchestra, former Artistic Director of the East Texas Youth Orchestra, former Music Director of the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, and more.

His experience spans from being an Associate Director of Orchestras at Arlington High School to holding roles in music publishing, conducting, and arts management. With a diverse background that includes positions such as Principal Conductor at Flutissimo Flute Choir, Production Manager at FILARMONIKA Music Publishing, and Apprentice Conductor at Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Felix brings a wealth of experience to his roles.

Felix's dedication to music education and community engagement is evident through his involvement as a former Associate Conductor at the Sinfonietta of Fort Worth, former Graduate Assistant at Texas Christian University, and former Lead Concierge at Apple, Inc. and Retail Sales Consultant at AT&T Mobility.
