Hernan Hernandez is a seasoned corporate development and finance professional with a track record of successful accomplishments. He started his career as a bank examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation before rising through the ranks of some of the biggest names in the banking industry. He has worked as the First Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Imperial Bank, the First Vice President of Finance at Comerica Bank, and the SVP Manager of Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions at City National Bank.

Hernandez has since become the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Strategy & Special Projects at City National Bank. Throughout his career, Hernandez has been instrumental in the successful acquisitions, sale, and merger of companies. He was the lead banker in the sale of City National Bank to Royal Bank of Canada and represented a deal value of $5.4 billion. Additionally, he led the acquisition of First American Equipment Finance, a pioneering nationwide specialty leasing company.

Hernandez studied banking, corporate finance, and real estate, ultimately receiving a degree in Bachelor of Applied Science from California State University, Northridge. He is also a founding partner at VdB Consulting and has been Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance at Green Dot Corporation.
