Cecelia "Cece" Otto is a classically trained singer, composer, and international best-selling author who has performed in venues all over the world. She graduated from Perpich Arts High School and went on to study linguistics and music at Macalester College. Cece later earned the first and only Interdepartmental Dual Master's Degree in Vocal Performance and Composition from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver. She is an accomplished performer, having undertaken ambitious musical journeys such as An American Songline, during which she performed 30 concerts of historic vintage music on venues along the Lincoln Highway. Cece has also created other historical programs, including The Songs of World War I, endorsed by the World War I Centennial Commission in Washington, D.C. She is an active member of several regional and national historical groups, and she is currently developing future concert programs about the women's suffrage movement and Prohibition. Cece also specializes in composing music, crowdfunding consulting, social media marketing, writing, editing, ghostwriting, gluten-free and allergy-friendly consulting, and Americana music. She lives in Portland, Oregon, and has written books and recorded albums based on her research.
