It is a part-time project working with a team of three ex-colleagues to develop a HW product that enables user to use LoRa technology at the most easy through AT command protocol. All low-level and complicated LoRa communication tasks are  handled by the board and users are exposed with some simple AT commands to transmit data over LoRa link even if they have no knowledge about LoRa. The project includes both HW design and SW design. We successfully finished the project and sell to students, hobbyists and product developersResponsibilities: - Plan for product specification for both HW and SW design - Plan for project milestones, project budget and team working procedures for remote cooperation. - Build skeleton code for system architecture for team member to integrate their SW components - Handle HW design from footprint design, schematic capture, PCB layout, manufacturing and assembly with Altium - Define SW Test specification, develop Auto Unit Test tool with C# and cooperate with team to validate radio range, software quality. - Write User Guide document, develop Example Projects with C/Python for STM32, Raspberry board, Arduino boards for user to learn using the product

Write tutorials teaching people about basic programming IoT application with BLE, Wifi communication using CC2541 from TI, nRF51822 from Nordic and ESP8266 from Espressif. The project purpose is to help students, developers to not only  understand software protocols and physical protocols of BLE, Wifi but also hand on with practical example projects with various and common chipsets in the market.We successfully wrote more than 20 tutorials covering from the ground to basic level knowledge. These tutorials help students or product developers to get closer to IoT application development with BLE, Wifi connections and act as the base to study more advanced topics

Design and build a humanoid robot:- Design 2D CAD and manually make body frames of the robot using aluminum material - Assembly robot body with 17 digital servos (MG996 brand)- Design schematic and do PCB layout of Servo controller (using Cortex-M3 MCU and TCL5940 PWM IC)- Do firmware programming for the Servo controller to control 17 servos of the robot for basic taks (self balance and walking forward/backward, etc)Result:- Successfully build the mechanical body of the robot- Servo controller board works correctly (producing correctly and independently 17 PWM channels with adequate power delivery)- However, the robot could not handle its designed tasks due to insufficient torque power of the chosen servos
