Boon Han is a seasoned Chief Digitalization Officer, with a wealth of expertise in implementing cloud architecture, data analytics, and AI for Schaeffler's Technology. He is also a former Head of Advance Research & Innovation/Research Director SHARE at NTU, Asia Pacific at Schaeffler. His professional experience spans several countries including Japan, Korea, and Italy, where he collaborated on advance automotive sensor and humanoid robots. Boon Han studied Master's degrees in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Nanyang Technological University.

As a Technical leader, Boon Han has in-depth knowledge in embedded electronics controls, vehicle systems integration, and Robotics system Development. He is a specialist in Innovation and connecting global creative hubs such as Singapore, Japan, and Seoul. Boon Han has an extensive portfolio of specializations, including Embedded controls and system integration, Automotive, and Robotics, IA, HMI, Perception (vision/lidar), fusion, localization, path planning.

He was formerly the Autonomous Vehicle Department Head at the Institute for Infocomm Research and the Robotic System Group Leader at Astar Institute for Infocomm Research. Before joining Schaeffler, he was the Chief Digitalization Officer & Chief Information Officer Asia Pacific, responsible for digitalization, cloud architecture, and AI at Schaeffler. Boon Han continues to be one of the top thought leaders in the autonomous vehicle industry.
