Program Manager, TechWomen

- Supported expansion and diversification of international development portfolio by managing full business development life cycle. Led identification, tracking, and assessment of USAID, multilateral, and local funding opportunities. ● Coordinated development and implementation of action plans to complete full spectrum of proposal development activities, including recruitment, teaming, technical proposal design and development, and cost proposal/budget development. ● Supervised all business development consultants and coordinate staff work flow. ● Drafted project Performance Monitoring Plans, monitoring and evaluation plans, work plans, and staffing/management plans for USAID approval. ● Ensured responsiveness, clarity, and compliance of proposal submissions. Provided proactive, timely, and ongoing support to International Office teams throughout opportunity life cycle. Achievements included: 100% FY14 win rate; signed $89M in awards, representing 215% growth over previous FY13. Submitted proposals totaling $105M in first two quarters of FY15.

Program Development Specialist

- Responsible for developing and monitoring action plans and budgets to pursue multilateral and US government (USG) funding opportunities within several technical and geographic portfolios. 	● Served as business development liaison for USG opportunities with regional and country offices, working closely with 25+ program countries globally. ● Led in-country partnership engagement, recruitment, and technical design activities, working closely with local civil society organizations. ● Developed and executed plans to compete for all relevant funding opportunities, including oversight of pre‐solicitation/pre‐proposal activities, recruitment, teaming, technical proposal writing, cost proposal/budget development, and management and supervision of all involved staff, including consultants. ● Developed and implemented field office training on USG and multilateral fundraising processes and provided in-country and remote technical assistance to country offices related to proposal development efforts. ● Supported the development of organizational policies for competitive bidding and annual strategic plans. Contributed to development of cloud-based portfolio management systems to track all strategic business opportunities.● Contributed to external and internal (federation) representation.

Plan International

Business Development Manager

- Provided general backstopping and technical assistance to global projects and served as technical assistant to public health, HIV/AIDS, disaster risk management, and education advisors. ● Prepared published case studies and provided technical assistance to Foundations, Corporate Relations, and Multilateral Fundraising Departments. Contributed to proposal development, including for USG bids. ● Researched, co‐authored, and introduced a global sanitation scale-up strategy for presentation to the Gates Foundation (resulting in award of $8M, multi-country grant). ● Regularly represented Plan in public health and WASH events, such as presenting at conferences and developing congressional briefings.● Served as founding team member of Multilateral Funding Unit and supported home office program management of Global Fund programs, including multiple $20M+ awards in West Africa. ● Supported start‐up for multilateral grants, such  as  Global  Sanitation  Fund  and Global Fund projects,  and  developed implementation plans for delivery of donor‐required documentation and planning.● Provided training to field colleagues work plan development and sub-recipient monitoring.

Program Associate, Health

- Operated as archivist for Service  Availability Mapping (SAM) data  at  the  country  level,  compiling and  cleaning microdata, creating metadata, translating and aligning facility‐ and district‐ level questionnaires, data sets, and country reports, and maintaining an online repository. ● Supported the maintenance of geographical information systems (GIS) and public health mapping curriculum for data managers. ● Supported the development of facility and district questionnaires, interview manuals, and key indicators in SAM health facility assessments.
