Alan Waite

Alan Waite is a highly experienced IT professional with decades of expertise in Cloud, DataCenter Automation, DevOps, Container and Storage technologies. After studying at The Southport School and The University of Queensland, Waite embarked on a successful career in IT, working in various roles at IBM Australia / New Zealand, including Account Manager, Sales Enablement Manager, and National Manager, Expert Integrated Systems, among others. He has also served as the Asia Pacific Training Manager at IBM Australia / New Zealand, consulting and implementing innovative programs across the region. In his most recent role as Research Director at Gartner, Waite has showcased his technical IT background and presentation skills as an evangelist and analyst. His specialties include Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Agility, Virtualization Solutions, Presentation Skills, and Program Management, making him well-suited for working with consultants, press, and analysts.
