David Coddington

David Coddington serves as the Sr. Vice President of Business Development at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the primary economic development organization in Broward County.

With a focus on targeted industries, David spearheads the Business Development group at the Alliance to attract and retain job creation and capital investment in Broward County.

The Alliance collaborates with various partners, leveraging the close relationships with municipal partners, economic engines, consultants, and brokers to achieve its economic goals.

David's team engages with 175 companies annually to stay informed about the economic landscape, offering assistance and building a comprehensive database of companies and trends.

A key area of emphasis for David is the technology cluster, where he serves as the Co-chair of the South Florida TechGateway, promoting and supporting the technology companies in the region.

David Coddington pursued Bachelor's degrees in International/Global Studies and Geography at the University of South Florida, enhancing his academic background with a focus on global perspectives and spatial analysis.
