Eric Chen

Eric Chen is a tech entrepreneur and pioneer in 360 VR imaging. With his expertise in computer graphics and industrial design, Eric developed the first panoramic image stitcher and 360 viewer on a Macintosh and was the lead engineer of Apple QuickTime VR in the early 90s. His extensive background includes publishing seminal papers for Siggraph and being named one of the top 100 most influential scholars in graphics. He has invented over 19 US patents and has had 3 successful exits to companies including Live Picture, WebEx, and Avaya.

Eric currently serves as the CEO of Bellus3D where he leads a company specialized in 3D face scanning. Eric is also a board member of Mental Canvas and has held executive positions at Persony, Inc., Presenter, Inc., RealSpace, and Avaya. With an impressive background and expertise, Eric has made valuable contributions to the tech industry, pioneering innovation in imaging technology and 3D scanning.
