She is the Founder and CEO of LOOMIA, previously known as The Crated, where she pioneered work to bring e-textiles to scale, partnering with fortune 500 companies. Her work has led to the foundation of two granted patents and has earned her accolades such as Forbes 30 under 30, Brooklyn Magazine 30 under 30, and NBC BLK 28 under 28 member. Maddy has also contributed to computational design and physical computing for various entities such as F.I.T Museum, CNBC’s Jump Jive and Thrive, and Google Creative Lab. Beyond LOOMIA, she held creative technology residences at Autodesk, School of Visual Arts, and Pratt’s BF+DA, and was a Thiel Fellow at The Thiel Foundation.
