Deepak Kumar is a highly experienced venture capitalist and investor, specializing in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and dev/devops tools. Over the course of his career, he has invested in numerous successful startups, including BastionZero, Cequence, MinIO, and Tetrate. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Dell Technologies Capital, Kumar has built an impressive portfolio of companies while also being involved in the board of directors or as a founding investor for some of the brightest startups in the tech industry.

Prior to joining Dell Technologies Capital, Kumar served as a partner at General Catalyst Partners, where he was responsible for investing in cybersecurity startups such as RiskRecon and MinIO, among others. Kumar has also served in various senior technical roles, including Chief Architect for High-Performance Computing, Asia Pacific at Sun Microsystems.
