Brent Buffone is a multi-talented professional with extensive experience in insurance, finance, education, and community service. He graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, majoring in communication, psychology, and marriage family therapy. He also studied Spanish language and literature in the National University of Costa Rica and earned an associate of arts (A.A.) degree in general studies from the College of Southern Nevada. Brent's work history includes various roles in the insurance industry, including account executive positions at Liberty Choice Insurance and Farmers Insurance, a service agent at Goosehead Insurance Agency, and a field underwriter at Family First Life. He has also worked as an employee benefits consultant at Colonial Life and as a benefits counselor at Sun Life Financial. Brent is experienced in financial literacy instruction and has worked with organizations like Andson to teach people about fiscal responsibility. He has also worked as a behavior therapist at Lovaas Institute and as a family safety specialist/program aide at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC). As a college senator at UNLV's office of information technology and a resident assistant at UNLV housing and residential life, Brent has demonstrated leadership qualities and helped build community.
