Haas has been recognized for her work by Forbes, BlogHer, WWD, Techweek, and other notable organizations. Prior to founding Dreamers & Doers, she worked in senior positions at venture-backed startups and as an investor at a healthcare-focused hedge fund.

Haas is half German, half Chinese-Malaysian, and was born in Africa. She studied at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Beijing Language and Culture University.
