Nicholas Vincent-Hill
Nicholas Vincent-Hill is a full-stack software engineer with extensive experience building scalable, responsive, mobile-first web applications. He is also a former trader, having worked in hedging interest rate risk for mortgage originators with mortgage-backed securities, as well as trading commodities, equities, and derivatives.
Vincent-Hill studied at the University of California, Berkeley's Walter A. Haas School of Business, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He also studied at Hack Reactor, where he further honed his skills as a software engineer.
His expertise includes working with React, MongoDB, Express, Node.js, Git, Docker, Webpack, SQL, HTML5/CSS/JS, AWS (S3, EC2, Route 53, CloudFront), Jest/Enzyme, Mocha/Chai, Redux, jQuery, Heroku, CircleCI, p5.js, SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Grunt, Python, and Linux.
Vincent-Hill is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Forge, where he continues to use his knowledge and skills to develop innovative software solutions. When not working, he enjoys traveling the world and urban gardening with his fiance Melody.
