Naeem Farokhnia (PhD)
Naeem Farokhnia, PhD, is a tech entrepreneur with almost two decades of experience in engineering and technology, working for both startups and Fortune 500 companies. With a strong background in power electronics and electrical engineering, he has worked on key projects for companies like Apple and Vicor Corporation. In 2015, he entered the tech startup space with the founding of AlbotroX, which developed emergency prevention services for first responders. Following that, he founded VGroceryStore Inc., a 3D experience grocery store that provides realistic shopping experiences to customers. Currently, Farokhnia is the founder and CEO of Mlcspaces, a technology-enabled platform that provides co-living spaces to tenants, making it easier for landlords to turn extra rooms into income-producing assets.
Farokhnia holds a Ph.D. in Power Electronics from Texas A&M University, along with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master's in Power Electronics from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. Over the years, he has published more than 50 papers on electrical engineering, making him an expert in his field.
