Manages the integration of new product from the design stage to production. Is a voice of plant operations to influence design of new product to ensure that a repeatable, efficient production process will be attainable. Works with NPI team members, design engineers, and plant engineers to review all drawings of new product and develop production process flows. This includes brainstorming failure modes by completing pFMEA documents, determining a rough draft of standard work, and determining the ideal production rate based on DFA software and assembly trials.Works directly with process engineering and quality engineering to ensure that all new components go through the necessary testing, and visual approvals in order to meet design intent.  Develops component priority list for engineering to work on based on project priority, full assembly level priority, and part arrival. Works with scheduling to make sure necessary quantities of new components are being ran to allow for an efficient assembly process.Works with manufacturing engineering at pilot builds to ensure all tooling, fixtures, and job instructions are developed and calibrated to meet design intent for the finished good. Works with scheduling and supply chain to develop a priority list and timeline in order to complete the necessary quantity of finished goods to allow for marketing to release the product for sale. Develops spreadsheets to track the progress of each project through the finishing and assembly of semi and finished goods. Updates plant managment daily about major project timelines and progress to ensure that deadlines are being met.

Summer 2014- Leavendary Intern, assisted biotrain intern with propogating pitchable quantities of yeast for company sales.Summer 2015- Leavendary Intern through HudsonAlpha's Biotrain Internship Program. Researched and tested different strains of yeasts and growth mediums to determine a high yield of viable cells while improving costs. Summer 2016- Leavendary Chief Intern Officer. Worked with the CEO and Lead scientist to develop research project for the summer interns. Worked with interns on building customer relations, and determined what research would benefit their brewing processes.

Leavendary Intern

Managed staff (up to 12 employees at a time), monitor and correct pool chemicals, monitor pool activities to ensure patron safety, stay up to date with certifications and life saving skills. Taught group and private swim lessons (ages 3 to adult). Coached summer swim team for 3 summers. Developed workouts and activities for different ages and skill levels.
