Gene Taras is a recent graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. Prior to becoming an associate at Sheeley LLP, Taras had a wealth of legal experience, including serving as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney Office, a Student Assistant District Attorney at New York County District Attorney's Office, a Legal Intern at Justice Richard Lee Price, a Legal Extern at Kings County District Attorneys Office, and a Legal Intern for the Gun Violence Task Force at Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. Taras also gained some invaluable work experience outside of law, serving as an Ocean Rescue Lifeguard Assistant Lieutenant and a Sales Representative at Vector Marketing.

Taras's educational background underpins his expertise in criminal law. He has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in History from the University of Michigan and studied Juris Doctorate in Criminal Law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. With his varying experiences, Gene Taras is poised to make an impact in any endeavor he pursues.
