James Dray is a seasoned communications leader with over a decade of experience advising senior executives and leading global teams in various sectors. With a PhD in Politics from the University of Oxford and experience teaching and researching on public policy and politics in Africa, Dray brings a unique and data-driven approach to his work. He has worked on numerous multinational public affairs, advocacy, corporate and crisis campaigns and possesses a track record in strategy and planning, resource mobilisation, and stakeholder management across various channels, including media, digital, employee, and activism. Dray has worked in diverse sectors such as International Development, Education, Mining, and Insurance and Banking. He is a partner at Brunswick Group, one of the leading global communications advisory firms. Prior to Brunswick, Dray held leadership roles at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Oxford Union.
