•	Part of NASA’s Applied Meteorology Unit, a tri-agency cooperative effort that evaluates and transitions technology to operations for weather support of space vehicle ground, launch, and landing operations
•	Responsible for running high resolution numerical weather prediction models on a local computing cluster in support of numerous AMU tasks
•	Emphasis on local data assimilation for high-resolution numerical modeling
•	Configured and tuned a local data assimilation and high-resolution numerical weather prediction model used to assist Launch Weather Officers during space launch activities
•	Completed tasks include synoptic and mesoscale observational and data analyses, model analysis and verification, mesoscale modeling, and graphics generation
