Arvydas Jonusonis is an experienced independent backend and "Big Data" Software Engineer with more than 7 years of expertise in Apache Cassandra. He has led software projects from concept to market and has maintained large-scale Cassandra deployments, automating and operationalizing infrastructure, optimizing costs, and advising organizations on Cassandra best practices. Arvydas has proficiency in Scala, Java, Groovy, Python, and Ruby, Spring Framework, Enterprise Integration Patterns, MySQL, Postgres, BigQuery, Redshift, Redis, Spark, Airflow, Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Docker, Chef, Puppet, among others. He has formal training in Agile methodologies and has experience in TDD/BDD, with Spock, cassandra-unit, JMeter, Gattling, and Push Notifications (APNS, C2DN). He is also familiar with Datadog, Grafana, Graphite, Kibana, Splunk, AWS, GCP, and has worked with Linux for over 15 years.
