Led Virgin Galactic's expansion into new business areas, including developing the suborbital research payload program and helping start Virgin Orbit. For each new revenue stream, secured multiple customers, helped to define the initial specifications, identified key hires, and assisted with associated capital raises as appropriate. Represented the company through clear and effective communication with media, customers, investors, and the general public. Co-managed (along with the SVP of Communication at our parent company) crisis response communications. Provided program management for a wide variety of internal R&D projects.

Manager and principle author of two incentive prizes: the $30 million Google Lunar XPRIZE and the NASA-funded, $2 million Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge. Set long term strategy and managed a small team ($1 million annual budget) fully responsible for conduct of both prizes. Developed and managed relationship with key stakeholders such as Google and NASA. Served as frequent Foundation spokesperson with media, VIPs, donors, and the general public. Conducted planning and research for future space prizes.
