Ahmad Alwan is a seasoned business strategist with an extensive background in corporate development and emerging markets. He holds an MSc in International Business and Emerging Markets from The University of Edinburgh and a BA in International Studies (International Relations), with a minor in Psychology, from American University of Sharjah.

Ahmad currently heads the Strategy and Corporate Development team at Hub71AD, a thriving innovation ecosystem located in Abu Dhabi. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and Senior Associate at Mubadala, a leading investment company focused on catalyzing economies and creating lasting impact. His expertise lies in identifying growth opportunities, negotiating deals, and establishing long-term partnerships to drive business success.

Before entering the corporate world, Ahmad worked as a Senior Industrial Engineer at Emirates, where he honed his skills in optimization and process improvement. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a passion for emerging technologies, sustainability, and social impact, and has been a strong advocate for supporting entrepreneurship and innovation.
