Alyssa Bigbee
Alyssa Bigbee, a professional instructor and youth program consultant, has a diverse background in communication, digital media, performing arts, and dance/movement therapy. She obtained a B.S. degree in Electronic Media/Communications at Kutztown University and pursued Medical Billing and Coding certification and Electronic Health Records, Medical Office, Medical Accounts studies through Temple University. She then turned her passion for dance into a career, creating a Performing Arts Program and a Performing Arts Cross Grade Internship program at the University of Pennsylvania Netter Center. She is now pursuing a Master of Arts in Dance Therapy/Therapist at Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions, where she aspires to use dance as a powerful tool for education and healing. Furthermore, Alyssa runs a nonprofit organization, Urban Edutainers, which focuses on providing low or no-cost dance, tumbling, and acrobatic programs to communities. She also collaborates with ADTA members of the PA chapter to bring dance/movement therapy to Philadelphia in 2020.
