Aymerik Renard has over 25 years of experience in business development and investing, spanning hardware, software, and services across four continents. He is currently a General Partner at Hardware Club VC, where he leads an international early-stage hardware-focused venture capital fund. He has been involved with companies that have pioneered significant advances in the Internet, computing, mobile, and consumer electronics industries. Aymerik has a multicultural background, having lived in several countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Aymerik received his American High School Diploma (Valedictorian) from the International School of Stavanger, and his BS in Information and Decision Systems, along with Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He started his computing industry career while still a student and served as Campus Representative for Apple Computer.

Aymerik has substantial experience with public speaking, conference presentations, and working with the media. He has been interviewed and referenced by various publications such as US National Public Radio, The Corporate Venturing Report, Le Point, Red Herring, and Venture Reporter, among others.

Throughout his career, Aymerik has held various positions, including Former Mentor at HAX, Mentor at Impact USA, Director, Western Digital Capital at Western Digital, Former Director at SanDisk Ventures, and Partner North America at Innovacom Venture Capital, among others.
