Alison Monahan
Alison Monahan is a legal education expert, attorney, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of The Girl's Guide to Law School, an online resource that helps students navigate law school and launch successful legal careers. Alison has a diverse educational background, including a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, an M.Arch. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before founding The Girl's Guide to Law School, Alison worked as an attorney at Quinn Emanuel and clerked for the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She is also a co-founder of Trebuchet Legal, Bar Exam Toolbox, and Law School Toolbox, which provide resources for law students and bar exam takers. Additionally, Alison was a Writer in Residence at Ms. JD, an online community for women in law.
As a legal education expert with extensive experience both inside and outside of the legal profession, Alison is uniquely qualified to help aspiring lawyers succeed.
