Brian Harris, a board-certified tax attorney, is an expert in assisting individuals and businesses with their IRS issues. With his extensive background, including working as a trial attorney in the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, Harris has a wealth of experience that he can leverage to help his clients with domestic tax planning and compliance. His special focus is on helping US persons with unreported foreign financial accounts, to come back into compliance with the law. Harris is currently working as a partner at Akerman LLP, and was previously an attorney at McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. He completed his education at the University of Florida, including a J.D., M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and B.S. in Computer Engineering.
