Christopher Cox is a highly accomplished attorney, former politician, and board member of various private companies. He began his career as a member of the faculty at Harvard Business School, where he studied and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. He later went on to obtain a law degree, a Doctor of Law - JD from Harvard Law School. Mr. Cox served as a White House counsel to President Ronald Reagan where he acquired a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experience in various areas, including US national security. His 21-year career in private legal practice included partnerships at Latham & Watkins LLP and Bingham McCutchen LLP. In 2005, President George W. Bush appointed him to serve as the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission–a position he held until 2009.

He has been recognized by various organizations for his outstanding contributions, including Los Angeles Magazine, which named him one of the "Top Attorneys in Southern California." He has also been named Orange County "Corporate Lawyer of the Year" and "Corporate Governance Lawyer of the Year." Mr. Cox serves on the advisory board for multiple private companies and has extensive experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and technology, among other areas.
