Hashim Alawadi is a seasoned investment and technology professional with more than 20 years of experience in engineering, operations, and capital management. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Tech Invest Com, a Saudi Arabian company that focuses on technology investments in the MENA region. Alongside, he also holds the position of Vice-Chair at the Saudi British Joint Business Council. Mr. Alawadi is well-educated in management and finance, having completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electromechanical Systems Engineering and Controls and Systems Engineering, respectively, from The University of Texas at Austin.

Before co-founding Tech Invest Com, Mr. Alawadi ran multiple tech services companies in the US, serving Fortune 500 companies and small businesses. He also worked as an engineering manager at Applied Materials, a global technology leader situated in Silicon Valley.

Over the years, Mr. Alawadi has served on the board of various regional technology and telecom companies, including Quantum Platform and Estarta Solutions. He has also held board memberships at Crowd Analyzer, Globitel, VTEL HOLDINGS LTD, and the National Blood and Cancer Center - NBCC.

Mr. Alawadi has received prestigious honors like the Instrument Society of America Best Paper Award and The University of Texas Bureau of Engineering Research Fellowship. His strengths lie in investment management, complex engineering and operational matters, and fostering partnerships between the Saudi Arabian business community and the rest of the world.
