Zazzle Media is a fully fledged Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing and SEO Agency.SEO and social sits at the heart of the Agency, and we class ourselves as leaders in the creation of world beating content and link building strategies, that produce measurable results across all digital channels. At Zazzle, I am primarily responsible for writing creative content for client sites and client blogs, as well as blogger outreaching for guest posting. This involves finding specialised blogs willing to publish effective guest posts written by myself for content marketing purposes.

Content Marketing Executive

This role predominantly consisted of selling press releases to ensure listing/feature coverage for clients on a range of different national and regional media platforms. I was also heavily involved with the preparation of a major project for Comedy Central’s series ‘Two and a Half Men’, starring Ashton Kutcher. Responsibilities included researching and gathering props for the stunt ‘Putting Ashton on the Map’ and maintaining the ‘Ashton Addiction’ Twitter account.

This role involved writing daily entertainment news stories for the mybliss.co.uk website, transcribing interviews with celebrities, helping to write horoscopes for the March 2012 edition of the magazine, as well as helping out with office admin.

This role consisted of chasing real-life feature stories to be later sold to national magazines and newspapers. Successes of this role led to a joint feature written by myself and a freelance writer from the agency, being published in the Daily Star newspaper in December 2011.

At Google Solutions I was involved with both social media marketing and SEO copywriting, using various techniques in order to improve search results for clients. I learnt to create effective search engine friendly content for all types of websites from ecommerce to blogs. As well as administration work and bookkeeping, I also used power content management systems, such as Word Press and Magento, when creating content.

Editorial Intern Placement

Head of the Features Section for Label, the official Loughborough Students' Union fortnightly magazine. Responsibilities consisted of holding weekly meetings for contributing writers, organising, encouraging and delegating content, proofreading, editing submitted articles and ensuring all deadlines are promptly met. Other important roles included assisting the design team in the artwork for all Features articles, as well as acting as an ambassador for the media centre – helping to promote the magazine and encourage new students to enjoy media opportunities at open days and media events.Successes of this role led to being nominated for 'Best Label Article' at the Loughborough Student's Union Recognising Action and Media (RAM) Awards in 2011.
