Shawn Mitchell is a full-stack technical writer with a versatile background in the healthcare industry. With over four years of experience at leading health technology companies, Shawn has developed a unique skill set, enabling her to produce compelling and informative content. Currently, she is engaged in developing documentation and relevant procedures for MyVeeva, a pioneering patient-facing product for remote clinical trials in the life sciences industry. Previously, she worked as a Documentation Architect and Senior Technical Writer at Cerner Corporation.

Shawn is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her educational interventionist background at Brookside Charter School has given her a comprehensive understanding of pedagogical techniques. This combination of technical aptitude, writing experience, and pedagogical knowledge, Shawn is able to navigate and simplify complex ideas.
