Lydia Pintscher

Lydia Pintscher is a prominent figure in the Free Software and Free Culture community. With extensive experience in product and community management, Pintscher has contributed significantly to the development and maintenance of open-source products and communities. She holds a Diplom in Computer Science from the Universität Karlsruhe (TH) and has managed several large mentoring programs and guided a vast community through significant technical changes.

Currently, Pintscher serves as the Product Manager for Wikidata at Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. She has also held various positions at KDE e.V., including Vice President, President, and Board Member/Vice President. Additionally, she has worked as a Community Communications for Technical Projects (including Wikidata) and Community Developer Engagement at ontoprise GmbH. Pintscher has also served as the Amarok Release Manager and Amarok Community Manager at KDE.
